Do you have DB2 Symmetric Multiprocessing installed and active?

My thinking is along the same lines. Except perhaps writing a custom
process that submits multiple JOBs simultaneously and runs them in
parallel, where each JOB copies a portion of the input file.

That wouldn't work however, if the .csv file rows needed to be ordered in a
certain way. It also would require a multi-core IBM i license and a
partition that included multiple cores.
