if you still have the v5r2 install CD’s you can restore that object from the CD.
you could do the same from a SAVSYS tape. use dsptap with *SAVRST to see all the objects saved to make sure it is on the tape.

Opt 21 printed a few quick lists then failed saying that *PNLGRP QGIZAINP could not be found. I've never created any panel groups and using WRKOBJ I can't find any panel groups on the system, or on my other system for that matter.

Panel groups are generally menus as I understand them, but the failure happens after all the normal menus of a GO SAVE appear.
Not sure what my options are.

An extensive google search QGIZAINP yields zero hits.
