It mentions creating a .profile file in the user's home directory - of course, that means that the home directory is not root!

It speaks of this in reference to QShell, so I'm not sure about how it applies elsewhere.

Ok, just HOW does one set up a default Java for a user profile?
I fail to see it in DSPUSRPRF.
I fail to see it in DSPJOBD of the jobd associated with the user profile.
