a. Leif Svalgaard's DOS SavF utility

http://www.as400network.com/noderesources/code/clubtechcode/SavF.zip

This utility creates a text file containing a DSPSAVF-like list of the given save file's contents. The utility runs only in DOS and can only handle DOS 8.3 file names; however, it is free, and the Cobol source code is included.

Folks:

Does anyone know if there is a way to look at a file on a PC and determine if it is a savefile that was (theoretically) downloaded from the i?

Thanks!

david
