I just added to Scott's reply - hope it helps - there is no way to get all that information, such as which statement you are on. Other things, like what library the program is in, can be retrieved. But to get which procedure you are in, yeah, call stack APIs, I suppose.

As Scott said, it depends on what the OP wants to know in the C++ program.

question is perfectly clear and (I imagine) extremely easy to answer
for anyone who programs in ILE C++.

Either there's no "easy" way and you have to "shell out" or use system
APIs, or IBM included some "C++ spelling" of the same feature.
