Two things happening here.
1) An SQL VIEW is something that you have to create by executing an SQL
statement. It isn't a parameter on a command. You don't create a view
by prompting STRSQL, you create a view by pressing Enter after you type
STRSQL. This will bring up a screen that looks like a command line.
Type CREATE VIEW and press F4 there.

2) SQL DDL is Data Definition Language. It has a syntax that is pretty
easy to understand once you've used it a bit but the first few times can
be interesting. You should have the manual open on the screen when you
do your first few DDL statements so that you can understand how the
syntax diagrams work vis a vis the statement returned by the prompter.
