It really isn't as scary as it sounds. I've been IBM i since 1986 and I've learned lots about VIOS in the last year because we use it quite a bit here.

At some time we'll be playing with VIOS. Everyone's warning me that I'm really going to start complicating the system but I get the impression that VIOS is the wave of the future for disk on Power hardware.
