Hey Ray!
Is it the orange T-shirt? Or a white one with boring blue and black design? Seems I was also involved with the UCD sessions back then - was working at Centerfield Technology in Rochester at the time.
Cheers
Vern

Now that I didn't know! Of course after seeing Rob's response, maybe my best bet is to do both!
Thanks so much. Anything that improves my performance is highly appreciated.

I quit using the search feature in the IBM Information Center.
I now use Google to search for stuff on IBM sites, using 'site:ibm.com" in the search string to force it to search the IBM site.
In fact, I attended a User-Centered Design session (got a T-shirt!) in Rochester almost 10 years ago and expressed my frustration with the search feature in the Information Center, and some of the IBM'ers admitted that it wasn't very good.

I use the search function on the IBM website.
My comments may have been a little strong, but lately I have really had problems finding things in the manuals.
I am the cutting edge guy here, so I have no one to bounce things off of.
In addition, I am the one who is expected to be able to resolve the problems none of my coworkers are able to. I have two resources: You guys (thank
god) (and the other internet sites) and the manuals. I would love to be able to effectively use the manuals. I just seem to have a great deal of trouble finding things in the manual, which in the past was never a problem.
That said, the system we work on has evolved so far from V5R1 that I know there has to be more complexity in the manuals. It just seems like there should be some kind of middle ground.
I very much appreciate your assistance Rob, Brent

Don't blame it on the manuals - blame it on misuse of the manuals.
You CANNOT use the top url in your browser to get to the point you are currently at in the manual.
You need to find a point which will point to that point. A blue highlighted area for example like
http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v7r1m0/topic/db2/rbafzlimtabs.htm
In Firefox I right click on the blue highlighted area and select "Copy Link Location".
Information Center, Availability, Database and SQL limits, SQL limits
Triggers
Maximum number of triggers on a table 300
You can also search Infocenter for system limitations. That's how I originally found this. Back in the old manuals you are so fond of I don't think they had this. It was a separate manual entitled system limitations or some such thing.
If you search for Maximum triggers you will see SQL Limits on the results list, granted tis would have been nice to be closer to the top.
