Why are there spool files without jobs?

Check out the SPLFACN parameter in the CHGJOB command.

I did ask if there was a way to display all the spool files that didn't

have jobs ...
What happens if you run thru your spool list, try a dummy CHGSPLFA and
record each instance of CPF3340 ?
