Thought I explained that. It all depends on whether or not it's
acceptable to shutdown production when you are performing maintenance on
your i. Whether or not you have a HA solution and whether or not you have
that properly set up. For example, we bring down our i once a quarter on
Friday night until late afternoon (roughly) Saturday. Friday evening we
switch over to our HA machine and Sunday evening we switch back to our
primary machine. I still have some ODBC issues I need to work out.
Production keeps rolling during that time.

Do you have a HA solution?
