The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Service pack installed and everything is fine now. Thanks all!

My iSeries admin guy found an update and is going to be installing it.
I'll let everyone know if that works. I've read and understand the using QDLS thing but I'm in a bit of a bind with that. We use a third party application to create GUI screens and the DDS compiler for that uses that location. Haven't had any problems with the data since 2004 so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I strongly discourage qdls but for testing purposes I ftp'ed up a .doc
file into a subdirectory underneath it. Then I use iNav to drag and drop
it and that worked. I also did the same with a *.txt file.
Now a file created with edtf '/qdls/sysdoc/trash.txt' came down but
looked like crap. Probably that it was CCSID 37 versus 819 for the
others.
