Also, what information are you getting from your reports? Can you get
this report of every tape volume that contains this object and what
date/time it was saved?

and options to display the sequence number (which REALLY saves on restore
time). and whether or not the tape is on site or at Iron Mountain and a
simple option to restore that particular object from tape (once you've
mounted it). If not, look into BRMS.
