This was an odd one.
If someone from IBM sees this post, all I did was move the Zend/PHP
directories to the end of my $PATH the issue went away. Oddly enough, none
of the commands affected were in those directories. Strange.

Here is my $PATH. I modify it with a .profile file to add PHP paths. By
the say, all of this is being ran from a PASE (QP2TERM) prompt.
