Hello,
We are using Symbol Scanners, and Intermec label printers. The Scanners
are using WaveLink software on them for the emulation.
We are also using TL Ashford's product to create the Bar Coded labels,
also DDS on any non-label printout.
When the scanners connect to the System, they are setup using the default
workstation naming convention, QPADEVxxxx.
Thanx,
Nick

We have a similar situation where the system is located in one state, and
the warehouse is in another.
We currently use Itermec devices in the warehouse running terminal
emulation
software on them that allows a connection directly to the system over
secure
wi-fi just like a pc with 5250 emulation.
There are many other providers that offer the same kinds of solutions.
Symbol and Motorola are a couple of other providers that have good devices
made for the warehouse.

As400 server stays in one city, the warehouse is located in other city,
when only PC with 5250
terminal exist. So how to connect it?
Thanks for any prompt and regards
Tomek
