Does cost kick up must by going with 300gb drives ?
I imagine an LTO4 drive is $3-4k
What's the HMC cost factor ?
Would the scenario You and Pete described use VIOS or just OS/400 (IBM i) as the host OS ?

I think the hardware list is roughly $16K for this using 140GB Drives and 32GB Memory. No tape drive included and no HMC included either.
