Gotta agree with Pete here. Went to COMMON years ago when we were running
a forerunner to the System i - The System/36. We had eleven of them and
only two talked to each other. By the time I left COMMON I had a network
written out (granted, it was on a bar napkin from CUDS). And this was
long before ethernet and even token ring entered our world. Within a year
our network was really starting to snowball.
It's worth it.
