After all our discussion - the IBM CE scheduled the install with customer, and installed the battery - no mention of customer install or charges..

Customer has maintenance.
I'm 1,000 miles away, no tech within the company, & I wouldn't trust anyone
onsite near the hardware. It will have to be IBM..
