On the PC under Operations Console, go under properties for the connection,
and do you have the Control panel box checked?

Subject: LAN Console

When we finally remembered the access password, and got the QSECOFR DST
profile reset (and got ME a QSECOFR-equivalent DST profile), the teminal
session on LAN Console finally came up. But the "remote control panel"
didn't, and just showed up in the list as "inactive."

Why would that happen?

Also, now that we have the box up, and actually have some time when
there aren't any brushfires, how do I go about migrating the LAN Console
to one (or more?) of the WinDoze boxes in "the cage"?

Incidentally:
Dunno whether it's the noise level in "the cage" masking it, or the
wooden cover I put over it muffling it, but it seems a lot quieter now
than it did when we were testing it back in September. And no signs of
overheating.
