The remote control panel is probably not enabled in that profile in SST.

What release of iSeries Access are you using? At 6.1 try right clicking

We remembered the access password, and reset the DST QSECOFR password to
something that will do for now, and I've set myself up with a DST user
ID with a password I can remember and all authority granted.

The console terminal session comes up now (on the WinDoze box that we
were using before), but the "remote control panel" doesn't appear to be
working; it shows in the list as "inactive."

We probably don't have time to do it right now, but how do we migrate
the LAN Console to a different box? And why is the "remote control
panel" showing as "inactive"?
