In all fairness to IBM, I am NOT a sys admin. I have done this twice in my
life now and the first time was three years ago with a V5R3 POWER4 machine.
I guess you could chalk my scenario up to what a new customer to the
platform would experience, except they would be even more paralyzed by the
process.

Tutorials like the one Lukas and others wrote are priceless replacements of
IBM's.

We did the upgrade in May and it was so seamless that I find myself
taken aback sometimes when I'm reminded of it.
