The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Supported, but likely with caveats. I would expect my comments
from http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l/200801/msg01226.html
would still apply. From the second link, consider that all of the
functions explained for its usage are specific to the non-i DB2
where really only "Executing SQL statements" applies; i.e. hardly
seems a generally portable interface, and as in my comments at the
archive link, the tool is [was then] actually native on i, to mimic
the DB2 utility.
I tried to read your article, Chuck, and found confusion. You imply that
this command does not have the same features as the one for AIX, apparently
solely because it's not a PASE tool. Bear in mind that if it was PASE, it
would not work from QSHELL... you'd need QP2TERM/QP2SHELL for that.
I have used the i5 version, the DB2-for-SUN version and the DB2-for-AIX
version interchangeably, and have found no differences. If I read you
correctly (and again, I had a difficult time discerning what's being said)
your primary complaint is that you're not sure about some of its support, or
something like that. Is that about right?
