Anybody know if a 520, partitioned into 2 partitions, can be operated
WITHOUT an HMC? Assuming the whole box doesn't have to be reset (like a
complete power down, or power outage), it could be run, right? You wouldn't
be able to individually restart a partition, or do any config changes, but
it could be done, I think.
I know, why would you want to? Well, if it breaks (as in hardware failure),
it would be nice to know you could still use the iSeries while waiting for a
replacement.
