The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Rob,
All good info like the others, but no. There were no messages in
QSYSOPR. QINTER is running, and I can telnet on the console back to itself,
and the new device does come up in QINTER.
CRTDEVDSP is on the machine, and I can prompt the command.

I like Charles suggestion. Also:
- Any messages in QSYSOPR? Like maximum devices, etc?
- QINTER running or QBASE is not restricted if running QBASE as QCTLSBSD?
- CRTDEVDSP work? Hey, I renamed it on one machine to stop
autoconfiguring. Maybe someone saw the post on midrange-l...
