Casey,
I know you were looking at books, but here are two excellent educational
events coming up that will give you a great opportunity to learn many
different aspects of the machine, from programming, Systems Admin,
networking, operations, database, and more.

I want to really shine on this platform as no one in my shop wants to
touch the box and I don't see us ever migrating away from it. I know how
to check qsysopr msgq and fix a printer here and there. I learn well
with books and hands on. Can anyone suggest a primer or good book that
can get me over the operator hump and into system administrator waters?
We run 2 boxes (620-v5r2 & 520-v5r4).
If you've got a recent/relevant book or two you have laying around I
might be interested in taking it off your hand$.
