The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
No... $1 replaces ${1}. This is true of any variable... $ROB can be
replaced with ${ROB}, and ${ROB} can be replaced with $ROB. I try to
use the simpler variant ($ROB or $1) when I can. Only if I can't will I
use the more complex variant. I never shy away from using complexity
when the occasion calls for it.
But, it's $1 not '$1'.

be done by surrounding string variables like this
'$1'
instead of
${1}
