I'm well aware of the items you're presenting. They've been hashed here
several times.

I'm really hard pressed to see where someone spending $150/n saves the
conference $8k...

I'm also a regular at the IBM tech conferences. That's why I suggested they
look at the Royal Caribe in Orlando...nice very affordable place that IBM
has used A LOT for their conferences...

When I look at an organization with COMMON's annual revenue. And I look at
how many attend the conference. The cost per person just does NOT make any
sense... And that's the cost per person BEFORE hotel rates...so, tack
another $1200 per person cost...

Oh well... And the beat goes on...
