FWIW, i salute you all! personally i can't afford to pay for the
privilege to help others... heck i can't even pay for me to benefit from
the sessions, etc. charging people to teach others is kinda
self-defeating IMO...but i'll just leave it at that...

I wouldn't quibble over trivial costs like $13/night internet. But
having to pay airfare, hotel, etc (somewhere in the neighborhood of
$2000 out of pocket) on top of spending 300+ hours of volunteer work
for COMMON... it just doesn't add up.

So unless something changes, I guess I can't go to COMMON anymore. I
hope it changes.

Yeah, I really think (hope) they rework that plan ... I can understand
doing the registration fee reimbursement for speakers who do just 2-5
sessions ... but for folks like you, Jon, Susan, Paul, Larry, etc, who do
a significant number of sessions, they should come up with a plan that
reimburses for more than just the reg fee.
