Do you have a mixed case Windows password and are set for alluppercase
passwords on the iSeries? I think this can cause problems with Windowswhen
it sends the mixed case password that does not match. And I think (Ican't
confirm this) that windows tries more than one time to send thepassword
when it fails and you can get disabled with a single clickQZLSSERVER (?)

I think the QZLSFILE job comes up once there is a share; the
job may have a job log that indicates if there is an authenticationissue.
It's also worth checking the history log to see if you can get a beadon
anythe
others jobs initiated at the same time.
How do you know the passwords are the same - what happens if you enter
user/password combination that is failing manually ? Have you considersure
changing the password at both ends (i.e. windows and iSeries) to be
they are the same ? You may need to reboot after changing the windowspassword
password to force it to try and make the connection with the new
instead of some old cached copy.list
I find these problems difficult to provide advice for...

Evan Harris

Thanks for the reminders - I had check the first 3 before sending my
message. Check them again;
Netserver - no users disabled
Permissions - I am the owner
Share permissions - read/right - no max users
No job QZLSFILE listed in WRKACTJOB
