The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

Is saying non-db2 file acceptable?
Since you asked, No, it's not.
Non-DB2 could mean a DSPF, PRTF, TAPF, CMNF, MXDF, etc. It could even
mean a so-called flat file (i.e. CRTPF RCDLEN(nnn) stuff) which
although implemented as a single column DB2 file is not treated as such.
Why not just use the correct terms: Stream file, directory, and
symbolic link (which is just a special case of stream file anyway)?

Simon Coulter.
