Have them open an iSeries Access session and click on the keyboard icon
under the menu bar to open the Customize Keyboard application.

Then click on Actions, Find, then in the drop-down dialogue box in the
center of the panel, scroll down and select 'Enter' and then click the Find
button.

It will then highlight the key that is currently mapped as Enter with green
dialogue lines...

You may need to create a custom keyboard mapping for your client's laptop.

BTW, I have created a custom keyboard mapping (for my Dell standard desktop
keyboard) that is set up to allow you to use PC-style keyboard functions
such as Shift-Enter for New Line, CTRL-C to copy, CTRL-X to Cut, and CTRL-V
or Shift-Insert, to paste. Here is what my AS400.KMP file looks like:

[Profile]
id=KMP
Description=
Version=5

[KEYBOARD]
KEY15=[char backspace]
KEY43=[enter]
S-KEY43=[newline]
C-KEY43=[dead]
C-KEY47=[edit-cut]
C-KEY48=[edit-copy]
C-KEY49=[edit-paste]
KEY64=[field exit]
S-KEY64=[newline]
KEY75=[insert on]
S-KEY75=[edit-paste]
C-KEY75=[edit-paste]
KEY81=[end field]
S-KEY86=[roll up]
KEY124=[host print]

Hope this helps!

Regards,
Steve
