Verify that the *ADMIN instance is running:

WRKACTJOB SBS(QHTTPSVR)

If not running find the jobs and examine the joblog.

Could there be any software other than 5722DG1 that I need that I might not
have installed?

Java is required for the Apache Admin instance.

Or do I need to do somehing else on the iSeries?

Two of my prestart jobs on the 820 failed on IPL - QZDASSINIT and
QZDASOINIT. I have no idea what these are. Does anyone else?

QZDSOINIT : Sockets Initialisation for ODBC/JDBC support

QZDSSINIT : Secure Sockets Initialisation for ODBC/JDBC support.
