Re: HTTP Server V5R3

Thanks to everyone for their input. I have installed 5722DG1 and ran the
command

STRTCPSVR SERVER(*HTTP) RESTART(*NONE) HTTPSVR(*ADMIN)


I then went to a browser and tried to access

http://192.168.0.7:2001

but, even though I can ping that address, the browser said

"Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 192.168.0.7:2001.


Though the site seems valid, the browser was unable to establish a
connection."

Could there be any software other than 5722DG1 that I need that I might not
have installed?

Or do I need to do somehing else on the iSeries?

Two of my prestart jobs on the 820 failed on IPL - QZDASSINIT and
QZDASOINIT. I have no idea what these are. Does anyone else?

what extent. I run version V5R4M0 but I connect to V5R3 and V5R2 boxes
all the time so I don't think there is an issue.

I don't think so. Anyway it's on your standard media so just go and
install and see what's happens.
Worst case you will have a 70 day trial....
