We had some problems with QINTER at one point-- it's been several
years, and memories fade-- but I think it was because we had
problems with large numbers of jobs in the single subsystem. What we
did was create multiple subsystems for QINTER-- we specified devices
with names beginning A-I for one, and J-Z for the other (A*, B*, C*,
etc.) It's only about a dozen names specified under devices, so it's
not obnoxious! But it did spread out the wear on the single QINTER
subsystem.
