Qinter was the ONLY subsystem that got ended abnormally?
I know of no way a subsystem would end abnormally like that without human or
program intervention.
If you can't find a record of it ending in QHST, then I would look at all of
your history logs for the last day or two (whenever this happened) and see
if any of them are missing. If some person ended Qinter, then they probably
had sense enough to try to cover their tracks to delete the history log too.
Seems like you would be able to figure out from the logs or the journal
though who was logged on at that time, what was running and all that.
If you can't find anything else....try FNDSTRPDM on every source file on
your system and see if you can find the ENDSBS QINTER command in one of your
programs. Maybe someone was testing something and didn't mean to
compile/run a program that had that in it?
I'll be interested to hear the outcome of this.

Subject: QINTER ended unexpectedly - needs to find out why
At 4:50 this morning subsystems Qinter ended abruptly on our production box.
We have checked:
*History log
* Job logs
* And what little information that could be derived from the audit journal
We can still not find any reason as to why this happened and need to make
sure that this does not happen frequently. (If we could find a culprit be
that a human or a program bug we would obviously also be quite happy).
Is there any setting that could log events such as subsystem starting/ending
in the audit journal?
Med vänlig hälsning / Best regards
