That was awhile ago. I thought, until V6R1 infocenter, that the search
was vastly improved. V6R1 made a lot of "improvements". Like:
- Ability to search a subtopic. Requires you to enable pop ups (so they
can also annoy you with surveys - one of the main reasons I disabled
pop-ups). The search isn't that good anymore.
- Many main topics continue to list subtopics, but no longer have hot
links into the subtopics - requires you to use the left window. I
reported this and they claim they are attempting to resolve this.
- SQL reference no longer lists the main contents on one screen. It was
too fast and useful to search that one screen with Ctrl-F. Instead they
broke it down into a bunch of subtopics so they can get you to try their
search drill down buttons on the right of each topic/subtopic in the left
window. Use of the drill down buttons requires pop ups (so they can also
annoy you with surveys).

You know, if I freaking wanted to fill out a survey, I'd click on "send us
your comments" or fill out the "Rate this page". That I frequently do.
