The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

I wasn't complaining about the Infocentre search. That used to be
complete crap (and I too used Google instead) but has been quite good
in the VRM530 and VRM540 versions.
I was complaining about the System i Support search which finds
things not in the Infocentre such as APARs, PTFs, and Redbooks.
The response from IBM I posted suggests the root cause of the search
problem is in the various InfoCenters (because they now search all of
IBM) so I guess we're back to crap InfoCentre results until this gets
resolved, although I haven't noticed any non-System i rubbish in
InfoCentre results yet.

Simon Coulter.
