The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

Is this even the case when you specify "system i support" and not
"all of ibm"? That's a dropdown next to the search text.
I see no such drop down box. There is an input field for search
terms. Under that is a Search icon and link and a Search tips link.
Below that is a drop-down that selects Tasks (All, Design, Develop,
Download, Install, etc.). Below that are a group of check boxes to
restrict search areas.
The starting URL is:
http://www-912.ibm.com/ImprovedSearch/
searchoptions.jsp
As far as I can tell I am already **in** the System i support domain.
Ahh, I see what you mean. In the IBM banner bar there is a drop down
box for All of IBM or System i Support and an input field next to
that. That defaults to System i Support when you are in the System i
Support domain. It changes for each of the platforms. However I am
not using that search method.
I might use the feedback link and whinge at them. See if that
accomplishes anything.

Simon Coulter.
