Control Panel > Mouse > Motion > Snap to default
uncheck if checked

i didn't post at bottom, but since upgrading to a new dell desktop,
one click on "reply" opens the reply box and mouse in same position
sometimes "sends" the reply. Dell has no answer for this other than I'm
clicking too hard...blame the user.
Not a cheap Dell but a professional workstation with a Dell mouse.
(btw - i'm equally irritated by the embedded find my post.
