RE: HMC Support

Yeah, I was wondering if that could be stored in WRKHDWRSC *PRC or some
such thing. I can see how that would be confusing. I have two HMC's, one
purchased to manage the 520, one for the 570. However, I use both to
manage each other. So obviously you need to see all that connected. And
maybe last connect date?

I think if you IPL your HMC you will see a WRKPRB entry. Oh, what the
hey, let me try that...
Nothing in WRKPRB. Do see an entry in STRSST, 1. Product activity log.

In the process I found one thing cool. I had a long running INSPTF going
on one of the lpar's consoles on that HMC. After the HMC came back up I
reconnected just like reconnecting into a disconnected job. And continued
on from disk 4 of 5 of the virtual optical drive. I really like HMC.
And this was from a remote 5250 session from my desk into the HMC into the
machine room.
