Hello Evan & Matt,

Running the DSPFD command below actually does write the DDM-specific
data to an output file:

DSPFD FILE(<ddmfile>)
TYPE(*ATR)
OUTPUT(*OUTFILE)
FILEATR(*DDMF)
OUTFILE(DDMOUTF)

I'm not sure whether Matt's E-mail mentioning the DSPFD command implied
that he'd prefer an API over an output file, but the output file method
is an option.

Best regards,
Carsten Flensburg

Last time I looked at this on V5R4 I came up with the same answer you
have.

I couldn't find an API or an outfile to get the required DDM data
either.
