You can change the public autority to the commande you want to control
to *EXCLUDE (EDTOBJAUT). If you do that, only users with the *ALLOBJ
special autority or with explicit right to the command will be able to
call them.

I would suggest creating a group profile and give it autority to the
commands. Then, for the users that need acces to those command, add the
group profile to the user profile.

there are other ways to achive this, but this one is fairly simple.

Yes, I know table restriction would be best and we're working toward
that but in the interim restricting users from using DFU and other
commands would be a good stop-gap.
