It will take a bit of thought. Like what about data area's, etc? It
might behoove you to look into a Mimix type solution. Which is going to
require a hit on the SPENDMONEY command. However, it will most likely
eliminate the issue caused by the 1:30 downtime every day. Hey, your
current management may understand that, but if you get the new 30
something MBA in the door he might laugh vigorously at that iSeries and
suggest replacing it with a Windows solution.
