An earlier posting in this thread suggested the "Service Manual -- v5r3"
[SY44-5902-07] which is quite detailed in explaining the coded entries in the
Product Activity Log and all the 'Control Panel' display variations .. (with
examples of various i-series model display variations)
..regarding disk configuration (it's strength is the differentiation of what
can be done in various 'paging environments' (--stand-alone / limited / full)
the best resource i have found which covers disk connection from a hardware
standpoint you can find in 'RedPieces'
