So, I know I changed it by running savlicpgm but need to get IBM to email me that savlicpgm changed it and they're telling me savlicpgm does not chgusrprf.

Frank:

The journal entry is your friend. If IBM tells you that SAVLICPGM didn't change it, then review the journal entry to see what _program_ DID change it.

There should only be three possibilities:

1. The program name on the journal entry will be a program within the QBRMS library. Use WRKOBJ to locate ALL copies of that name on your system.

2. The program will be one that you are unable to connect with BRMS.

3. There will be no program name in the journal entry.

Regardless of which of those three, if you can cause that program to be called or that entry to be created by simply running SAVLICPGM against BRMS, it has to be IBM that explains the journal entry. Either they are not familiar with the specific exit programs for BRMS, or they have a bug in how journal entries are generated on your system.
