If they are, then they
need to allow relaying. If not, then to Exchange, it's just like all
other e-mail from the outside world. I would have them check the SMTP
service on their Exchange server to make sure that they don't limit what
IPs are allowed to connect."

We will be sending both inside & outside addresses
some mail to customers
some mail to admin & manager - alerts & status
They are a little leary of open unrestricted relay - they were blacklisted
for allowing a spammer to take over for a while.
I'm hoping Exchange can restrict relay to only from our iSeries "10." private address

What can I tell the admin of an Exchange Server so that
email sent from iSeries (via Aaron's RPGMAIL) will be accepted?
iseries pgm has no errors & appears sent ok.
Can telnet to the server from iSeries, port 25 & looks ok.
I am assuming he needs to allow the relay from the iSeries,
but so far he is not "getting it".
