Yes but it would be nice if IBM allowed you to put one in to upgrade
mode while the other took over.  When the upgrade of the first is done,
take over control of system and push the update to the other FSP behind
the sceens.

    Do you relly want your FSPs at different levels? This to me sounds
like
   two versions of Order Entry out there both pounding on the same set
of
   files. If the versions are different would you not expect them to
behave
   differently? If so what happens to your data, can it even be
predicted?
    As the FSPs are in control of the heart of your machine would you
not
   want them doing exactly and I do mean EXACTLY the same thing? If they
were
   different then I would expect a cold frame reboot to switch between
them
   and that can be done today between the "T" and "P" sides even on a
single
   FSP machine. For them to fail over they need to be completely and
totally
   in sync or as we have so often heard: "Unpredictable results will
occur."
   (And it is highly unlikly these results would be good.)
