Re: Going from 5.2 to 5.4...

Carefully study the "Memo to Users" for both V5R3 (even though you are 
skipping this) and V5R4.  If it sounds like it will have a major impact do 
NOT assume that IBM must mean something else and you are intrepreting it 
wrong.
Follow the directions carefully in the Software Installation.
Study the Hardware and the Software in the planning statements at
http://www-304.ibm.com/jct01004c/systems/support/i/planning/upgrade/index.html
for both V5R3 and V5R4.
