Could be true, but this can be used for wiping desktop, laptop, and
server drives and can be used to clone prepped PC images.  Very handy
when decommissioning old equipment.  It's also fairly fast.  And your
auditors are far more likely to believe a report from this device than a
receipt from the firing range.
