Hi ChisI seem to remember setting a Service tools address using SST (or DST - whichever one is the one you get using Option 21 from the front panel) under the Service tools, configuration or devices.
I set this address as part of a LAN console set up, but don't remember the exact menu items - I guess if you can hunt around the menu options a bit to see if anything pairs up with the wrong address you keep seeing. There was some relationship between setting the address in the Lan Consoel set up and the address the Lan Console card was on. Nothing about this was intuitive hence my poor memory of it.
I realise that's a bit vague, and don't know if it is applicable, but I hope it helps even if it just ends up being an option you can rule out, or at least some other avenue to explore.

Still no solution for this? Where is the service tool finding it's IP address? I have a newer iSeries 520 and have set the as-sts service entry and IPL'd. Now when I try to connect with OPSNAV I get the following error: No service tools server found at IP address x.x.x.x. The problem is the IP is the external public IP address of our firewall used for outbound NAT translations, not our internal IP address. Where can I change the IP address for the connection? Management Central has the correct address and so does the OPSNAV connection. Our internal DNS does not have any external IP address. Where is this IP address stored?
