Sure, but as a development shop we apply updates a lot and we do not need every resource on our network being unavailable because we want to put on a PTF. Also, we have so many different things running on the iSeries that there are a lot of pieces that can need fixes -- requiring downtime. I'd expect a SAN to be more stable in this area since it has a more focused purpose. I'd like to use my iSeries as the SAN, I think it bring some value. In our case, the way we use our iSeries, it just didn't make sense. Mark
